Hello, My name's Dave, and I'm the proud owner of Hot Tub Hire Manchester, which is part of the Born 2 Bounce Ltd family.

Seven years ago, our little boy was starting primary school, and my wife Cathy was looking to get back into work. However, we also wanted the opportunity for her to have the chance to take him and pick him up from school every day. At that time, I'd been in business full-time doing bouncy castle hire and soft play hire. I found that I was being asked on a weekly basis if we did hot tub hire, so we thought that we'd buy a couple of hot tubs to see how things went while also bringing Cathy into the working side of the business.

I put myself on three water treatment courses. The first was, whilst interesting, not really for the hot tub side; it was actually a swimming pool water treatment management course. The second and third courses were fantastic though, educating me on hot tub water management plus the knowledge needed to ensure that hot tubs are safely maintained. The third course was the best; it was organized by a company who are official training providers set out by BISHTA, The British and Irish Spa Hot Tub Association.

Soon, two became four, four again soon became six, and within a few months, something we visualized as a part-time income for Cathy became a hands-on full-time side of the business. We decided then to set up Love To Spa, to build a separate website and to try and give it its own identity.

In 2018, we decided to add a few themes to our packages. These went down really well, especially the disco-themed package. When COVID hit the UK in 2020, I was advised to make things as basic as possible. The actual words were "if you can't guarantee every square inch is clean then you don't do it". We decided to strip things right down to a hot tub, gazebo with no sides, and battery-operated globe lights. We carried on operating like this till March 2024.
